. . . to test if the world is really a small place
Herself and I are married twenty-five years this year and I thought I would try to locate my friend Ian, who was best man at our marriage at RAF Cosford, where Katharine’s brother was chaplain.
Ian’s father was a priest in the Church of England and lived at the vicarage in Chilton Polden, a village in Somerset between Bridgwater and Glastonbury.
Ian and I did our A levels at Strode College at Street in Somerset before he went off to the University of Sussex where he read biology.
On graduation he worked in IT for Williams and Glyn’s Bank, then J P Morgan, and then (I think) Banque Paribas.
The last time I saw him was 1994, he was still living in north London at the time. In 1996, he moved to Scotland, before moving to Australia, where he was with Macquarie Bank.
The last I heard of him was on a Friends Reunited entry.
Lots of Googling revealed he had left Macquarie in 2002.
Where since then? I don’t know.
There must surely be enough words in the above for Google to pick up on some of them.
If I get a response, the world is a small place.
More importantly, Ian Graham, how are you cobber?
