A chapel free of shadows — 2 Comments

  1. The 1900 six inch has a chapel on Bow St Langport. One in Low Ham at the head of Mortons lane and another on the Stembridge Rd High Ham called Siloam Chapel. Plus four CoE in the same space.

  2. The chapel in Low Ham still functions, but the chapel in Langport closed last year and is up for sale.

It’s interesting that our road was called ‘Stembridge Road’ on the Six Inch map. It is called Eastfield Road in the British History entry, and has been Windmill Road for my lifetime.
