Ireland under judgement? — 2 Comments

  1. Judgement is at the heart of Gods word. Look at the injustices being perpetuated by lovers of evil today. In the absence of direct revelation it is not possible to know if certain calamities are or are not judgement from on high. We are free to hold a view just as we are free to do good or evil. God does punish wickedness both now and into eternity. This may make a person uncomfortable but truth is truth. It is sad however that many of our forefathers during the famine years had so little regard for the word of God.

  2. Even a brief reading of New Testament theology would show that the idea of innocent people being punished for some notional national “sin” is a contradiction of the death of Jesus that all might have life.
