  1. I really enjoy this message, thank you. I wonder if the saying, ‘Three strikes and you’re out’ comes from the Old Testament of forgive three times and then not on the fourth.

  2. I had never thought about the “three strikes” rule – baseball isn’t played much on this side of the Atlantic – it would be interesting to find out. (Reading Bill Bryson’s “1927”, it would seem that, if the three strikes rule came from Scripture, it was the only bit of the Bible observed by Babe Ruth!)
