Do you want something beautiful? — 1 Comment

  1. Commercial Beauty as defined today stemmed from Ad Agencies questing for a standardised ‘look’ of those with loose cash. You had Katie Boyle in the 50s. Of a section, but exotic with the Italian connection. The 60s had Twiggy, who marked the shift to a wider vision of the agencies. There was a pause in the 70’s to mid 80s. But its been pretty standard since about 1992.
And for what its worth, the look in Northumbria and the Norse homelands is pretty much the same.
